This is Ruben who belongs to Morti.

He's 10 now and very much loved. Morti says that when he was a pup he was very badly mistreated, he was nothing but skin and bone and he still bears the scars from his beatings, my mum took him in though when he was left at the local vets where my mum worked. He was so scared of people. He also has heart disease, we are so proud at how well he copes with it. Now he is such a lively dog but so soft, he wouldn't hurt a fly and has never got nasty to a person or other dog. We prehaps treat him to much, but he really is my little child and we love him to bits and i couldn't imagine life without him. He's claimed the sofa as his own and doesn't like strangers sitting on there! I just thought i'd share the story of a very brave and amazing dog who means everything to me.
